Welcome to the Taboo Community Bi Weekly Update. In order to keep the community informed of developments and core information, with a high degree of honesty and transparency, this report will be sent out every two weeks. It aims to bring all the various threads and deliverables together in one short and sharp update.

So what has been happening in recent weeks?:

The recent focus of the Taboo project has been twofold. One focus has been from the development team to finalize new features and improvements to the Marketplace version 1 that launched in early June. The other main and increasingly important focus has been preparing for the first ever taboo Mansion party that takes place in less than two weeks.

Marketplace:

The Dev team have been working hard on improvements and to complete the Marketplace version 1 feature additions. There has been a vastly improved performance from the Taboo dev team under the direction of Nadeem, our CTO. The following features have now all been delivered as promised within the last couple of weeks:

Buy Taboo swap / NFT Resells /NFT Auctions.

These are all great features that will make owning taboo tokens more accessible to non-crypto communities and then capture the interest of the community by allowing the taboo NFT’s to be traded onsite. There have been a few minor teething problems, usual with any release, and we appreciate any feedback from the community.

TabooPunks:

Now that the majority of the Taboopunks that have been purchased have been claimed the team have been looking tom add real life utility to the punks. This additional utility for gold, silver and bronze punks have been communicated in recent weeks. Such as:

• Gold border taboo punk holders will have access to the most exclusive areas of the upcoming Taboo Metaverse and Taboo Festivals! This exclusive area will be known as TABOOSPACE! Please see previous articles in Medium and pinned messages for all the details.
• For all taboo punk holders, be it gold, silver or bronze, there will be no transaction fees to resell your taboo NFT on the Marketplace! Non taboo punk holders will need to pay the transaction fees.
• These new utilities are additions to teh tier 4 Marketplace access that owning a taboopunk already grants you.
• More to come as Taboo develops and grows,

If you have missed the three claim rounds that took place so far you will need to e-mail Punks@taboo.io to request that they are set up for claiming in a future round. Any escalations should go to @MattabooCM in Telegram or Discord.

Whitepaper:

Work on an updated whitepaper is ongoing and the CTO and Devs are now adding content, however, they are juggling various priorities right now. Please be patient a little longer. But it has progressed and is getting closure to completion.

Taboo Mansion Party:

The Taboo mansion party will be happening between the 12th and 15th of August. Recent exciting news is that Taboo has signed up a celebrity master-chef called Jack Lee who will be catering for the lucky attendees. Jack has catered privately for A list celebrities and is a great addition to the Taboo Brand. It was already announced that we will have Lana Scolaro, a very well known DJ with over 1 million instagram followers will be our official mansion DJ!! These additions show the level of quality that will be the blueprint for all Taboo Mansion parties and Taboo Festivals going forward. Quality, pure class, are what these events will be known for.

Competition Winners:

Apologies for the delay in getting prizes out to winners. This has started, some community members have already shared their prizes in the main chat groups and all winners of the various competitions held recently will be contacted and prizes given out. Thanks for your patience on this point.

What is the focus for the next two weeks?

Marketplace development:

Now that the main features for the Marketplace version 1 have been completed the team can now turn their attention to whats coming next. Version 2 and version 3 features and releases can be designed and planned in more detail. The taboo Metaverse can start to turn into a reality. So please watch out for more announcements from the team about whats coming form what is now a very well functioning Dev team.

Also the marketplace is supported 24/7 by the team so please continue to raise any issues by e-mailing support@taboo.io. Any feedback or suggestions of Marketplace improvements such as cosmetic and usability improvements should be raised by e-mailing feedback@taboo.io. TabooPunks:

TabooPunks delivery has mostly completed, claimed punks are revealed on Openseas and listed on Rarity tools. All or the vast majority of the taboo punks will be revealed soon, there are a few claimed punks that remain hidden and this matter is under discussion between the owner/s of these punks and taboo. If anyone has missed the three claim rounds then please e-mail punks@taboo.io with evidence of your initial purchase with txn IDs and your wallet address for the claim. Any escalations of TabooPunks issues please DM the Community Manager @MatTabooCM.

Taboo Mansion Party Marketing:

More teasers and promo videos will continue to happen up until the event. However, the core benefit of this event is making sure that it is top class and that great marketing content, images and video can be taken from the event to feed the desire for people to attend future events. These events will grow and grow and will eventually be a well known event in the adult industry. The next Bi Weekly update will be sent out after the event and hopefully include some images from the event! so watch this space.

Whitepaper:

Work is continuing on the Taboo Whitepaper with an aim to get them finished within the coming weeks. But rest assured the team know this whitepaper is a key deliverable to get done before we enter the next bull market!. Please be patient with us on this.👍

Roadmap:

The Roadmap has been updated on the taboo.io website recently, taking taboo future development into Q1 2023. This Roadmap will also be added into the Taboo whitepaper that is being written.

Certik:

Actions have now been assigned to complete this. Apologies for the delay on this but I hope the community can appreciate the various priorities right now. It will stay in this report as a section of interest until its done. Once the Taboo Mansion party is completed then this should be completed pretty soon after.

TabooGirls:

Discussions are ongoing with a very high profile model. This model is known for her more X rated work. The socials of this model reach over 5 million people! Nothing is guaranteed but we wanted to share this information with the community. Fingers crossed and watch this space.

Photoshoots:

There will be a full photo shoot at the Mansion Party that invited tier 4 investors can get to witness themselves!. Also a lot more Marketplace NFT content from previous photo shoots is being uploaded onto the marketplace in the coming days and weeks.
