Staking Protocol Updates

To our loyal and dedicated community,

We are happy to inform everyone that we have created an update to our staking protocol! In short, it will consist of:

3 Months Staking — 12% APY

6 Months Staking — 16% APY

12 Months Staking — 20% APY

We have had many community members reach out to us via email, and other communication channels about staking periods that can consist and last longer than 3 months. Your messages have been received!

You will see that the staking platform on our website has been updated to reflect these new staking paramaters!

Existing Stakers + New Stakers

We have had certain stakers who were locked up during our transitory period that are earning 26% APY until the end of the year. We are still honouring this for those loyal stakers

For new stakers (who staked upon our V1 MP Launch earlier this month):

If you send an e-mail to support@taboo.io we will manually adjust your Staking Rewards if you’d like to extend your staking period to 12 months to earn 20% APY, not the current 16% APY you are earning

Upon the end/expiry of your current staking time-frames, from there, all stakers can choose which new period of staking (3, 6, or 12 month lock up staking APY)!
